Queen Anne’s Lace  (Daucus carota)

Description: 1-4 feet high, grows in fields and dry waste place. Note the three stiff green bracts below the flower head. Dairy farmers hate it because it gives an unpleasant flavor to milk when cows eat it. The vegetable carrot was bred from this plant.
