Common St. John’s Wort  (hypericum perforatum)

Description: 2-3 feet tall, grows along roadsides, or in fields. It contains some toxic substance. Oil made from the flowers works as a topical treatment for bruises and joint problems, the herb might help with mild depression. It is a European-Mediterranean native, but out of Europe, government more likely to spend funds on figuring out how to eradicate the herb from farmland rather than use it for medicine.
