Sichuan (a province in the southwest of China)
Sichuan is a basin with fertile soil near Tibet. In the old days, The great deal of white rice and livestock was so attractive to poor people outside that Sichuan earned a name "the country in the paradise". People in Sichuan used to enjoy life. They like to make delicious food with hot pepper. Many old men can spend the whole day in the tea house with friends. Strolling around the street in Chengdou or Chongqin, the two biggest cities in Sichuan, you can feel the relaxed atmosphere everywhere. Sichuan is also a place full of spectacular sceneries. Jiuzhaigou (a name means Nine Tibetan Villages) is the most famous one. The color of the water in Jiuzhaigou is absolutely out of your imagination, just as coming from a world of fairy tale. Certainly, most of the road to those beautiful spots are horrible. So, only brave person can feast on the view. Want to see the horrible road? Come on in. A brave but miserable car and the road. |
